Early voting results out of Dallas County show Ted Cruz is not the only incumbent trailing his challenger. U.S. Rep. Pete Sessions, R-TX, who has held his District 32 seat for 15 years, is coming in second to his democratic challenger Colin Allred. Early voting results show Allred with a roughly 9-point lead over Sessions. Nathan Johnson, who seeks to unseat state Sen. Don Huffines, R-Dallas, is leading with 54.63 percent of early votes. Huffines has held his seat since 2015. Both Sessions and Huffines represent portions of Richardson.
