As a result of the relocation, the city of Richardson is working with Provident Realty Advisors for a building modernization grant that includes $15.8 million in building improvements.
The call center supports various customer service and sales functions.
“Attracting long-term tenants like AT&T and modernizing existing office space are central to our three-pronged approach for revitalizing the commercial office sector in the wake of COVID-19, through partnerships with property owners to upgrade amenities, tenant improvement grants to make deals more feasible, and targeted redevelopment of specific office properties to create more vibrant developments,” City Manager Don Magner said in the release. “These initiatives are essential to keeping Richardson competitive and thriving as a destination for corporate investment.”
An expected relocation date is not available; however, documents filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation indicate renovations will wrap up in winter 2025.
