Party City in the Richardson Heights shopping center is set to close, a company representative said.
The company, which sold party supplies, closed nationwide.
Party City filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2023, which allowed the company to restructure and eliminate nearly $1 billion in debt; however, the efforts were not enough to keep the company afloat and it filed for bankruptcy again.
The Richardson location remained open for a short time to sell through inventory but has since closed.
