2 VIO Med Spa locations in McKinney, Richardson under new ownership

Two existing VIO Med Spa locations in McKinney and Richardson are under new ownership, according to an Aug. 31 news release.

Former Meta and McKinsey executive Joseph Luchenta acquired both locations in the second quarter of 2026. Luchenta has also signed an agreement to open a new location in Prosper, according to the news release.

Luchenta will focus on "strengthening operations" and positioning both locations for "sustainable growth" before beginning the site-selection process for the Prosper location. In a statement, Luchenta said VIO stood out for its growth trajectory and the strength of resources behind the brand.

"My immediate focus is being a present owner, investing in our providers and strengthening the guest experience in Richardson and McKinney," Luchenta said. "From there, we’ll be well positioned to bring VIO to Prosper and continue growing across the region."

VIO Med Spa’s Richardson location opened in 2020 and the McKinney location opened in 2023. The spas offer a variety of services for men and women, including skin rejuvenation treatments, body contouring, dermal fillers and hair restoration.
