Barnes & Noble is now open in the Pavilion East Shopping Center in Richardson.

Along with books, the store sells magazines, board games, DVDs, records and more. Barnes & Noble operates nearly 600 stores across the United States.

“We are so looking forward to becoming a true community bookstore, to really connect with our customers and watch our littlest readers grow,” Store Manager Stephanie Trout said in a news release. “That's what bookselling is all about: connection and sharing our love of books and literacy with everyone we can—and we can’t wait to welcome you into your new Richardson Barnes & Noble.”
