Miss Belle’s House has a new home at Huffhines Park.

The home is one of the oldest buildings in Richardson, built between 1886 and 1889 and is a Texas Historic Landmark.

It was previously located at the City’s Fire Training and Emergency Operations Center at 1621 E. Lookout Dr.

Exterior renovations are expected to start soon, per the release. The home was purchased for Virginia Bell “Miss Belle” Robberson in 1902. She was a school teacher who operated a private school in the downstairs space while living in the upper level.
