1. Glendenning Parkway reconstruction
Project: Glendenning Parkway will be reconstructed and expanded into a four-lane divided roadway from Dallas Parkway to Preston Road. The project includes drainage, bridge and pavement markets. The lighting and landscaping will be done as part of a different project.
Update: The project has been delayed and does not have an estimated start date. The schematic design has been completed, and the Texas Department of Transportation is actively acquiring right of way. TxDOT placed a hold on the design.
Project: Legacy Drive will be expanded to connect Carthage Drive to Louisiana Drive. This project is associated with the developer agreement for Acadia in Legacy Hills.
Update: The project is in the design phase.
Project: First Street will be widened from a two-lane rural roadway to a four-lane divided suburban roadway from Dallas North Tollway to Coleman Street. The project includes a concrete curb and gutter roadway, underground drainage improvements and a water line.
Update: The project is in the preconstruction phase.
Project: First Street will be reconstructed and widened from a two-lane roadway to a three-lane roadway from Coleman Street to Craig Road.
Update: The project is in the design phase.
Project: Gee Road will be improved from FM 1385 to US 380. The project includes additional lanes, paving improvements and a footbridge over the Doe Branch drainage crossing.

Project: Teel Parkway will be improved with a four-lane concrete divided roadway. The improvements include paving, a retaining wall, drainage and median landscaping. The project spans First Street to Freeman Way.

Project: Coit Road from Prosper Trail to Frontier Parkway will be widened from a four-lane roadway to a six-lane roadway. This project is a part of a great Coit Road widening project, which also includes Coit from First Street to Prosper Trail.

8. Coit Road Phase 1 widening
Project: Coit Road will be widened from a four-lane roadway to a six-lane concrete roadway. The project spans from First Street to Prosper Trail.
Update: The project is under construction.
Project: Choate Parkway is being reconstructed from Coit Road to Roseland Parkway. The project is shared with the city of Celina and the adjacent subdivision developer.
Update: The project is under construction and will be done in two phases. Lighting and landscaping will not be included in this project.
Project: Oklahoma Drive is being updated from Pecan Street to Malone Drive. The project will replace the existing asphalt roadway with two concrete lanes. Lighting and landscaping along Oklahoma Drive will be included in this project.
Update: The project is under construction and waiting on utility relocations.
