1. Coit Road updates
Project: The project will design and construct four lanes of an ultimate six-lane concrete divided roadway from First Street to Prosper Trail. This is phase one of the larger Coit Road reconstruction project. Phase two will look at Prosper Trail to Frontier Parkway.
Update: The project is in the preconstruction phase and will start construction later this summer.

Project: First Street from Dallas North Tollway to Coleman Street will be expanded from a two-lane rural roadway to a four-lane divided roadway.

Project: The project will reconstruct Pecan Street from Arizona Drive to Florida Drive. It will also include replacements of pavement on Arizona Drive from Pecan Street to Beech Street and Illinois Street from Walnut Street to Beech Street.
Update: The project is in the design phase and is on track. An estimated completion date has not yet been determined.

5. First Street construction
Project: The project will create a four-lane concrete roadway with a median from Stuber Elementary School to North Dallas Parkway
Update: All paving activities have been completed, according to the town of Prosper’s website. Crews are clearing the roadway in preparation for striping operations, which were expected to begin the week of July 14.

Project: Sunset Boulevard from Preston Road to Coit Road will be repaved with asphalt.
