Windsong Parkway and US 380 traffic light
The project: Construction will include adding a new turn lane and relocating an existing street light at the Windsong Parkway and US 380 intersection.
The update: Town staff met with Texas Department of Transportation representatives in late May to discuss the project and estimate construction will start in late summer or fall 2025, according to an update on the town’s capital improvement projects dashboard.

Teel Parkway and First Street signal additions
The project: Two traffic signals will be added at First Street and Artesia Boulevard, and Teel Parkway and Prairie Drive ahead of the new Prosper ISD high school being constructed at the southeast corner of Teel Parkway and First Street.
The update: Designs for the project are underway, and construction should start in winter 2024 or early 2025.

Coleman Street road replacement
The project: Work will include replacing the two-lane asphalt road with a two-lane concrete road with some on-street parking spots. Other improvements include pavement marking and signage, lighting, traffic control, storm drainage systems and median landscaping.
The update: Prosper Town Council members approved a $660,000 contract to design the new road during a June 25 meeting. Designs should finish in fall 2026 with construction starting after.
