Dallas Parkway road repairs

The project: Some concrete panels on the northbound lanes of Dallas Parkway between US 380 and First Street are uneven and will need surface repairs to prevent further settling. Contractors will inject polymer under the panels to level them during the night to limit traffic disruption.

The update: Prosper Town Council members unanimously approved the project and its start date during an April 30 meeting.

Traffic signal conduit relocation

The project: Traffic signals at two intersections are in conflict with Prosper’s water distribution system and the North Texas Tollway Authority’s plans for Dallas North Tollway underground storm sewer systems. To resolve this, contractors will relocate the 1,500 feet of conductors at both intersections.


The update: Prosper Town Council members unanimously approved the project during an April 30 meeting with contractors expected to start construction within 30 days of its approval.

Left-turn lane additions on Prosper Trail, Preston Road

The project: Contractors have been working to finish new turn lanes at the Preston Road and Prosper trail intersection lanes since early 2024, according to the town’s capital improvement projects dashboard.

The update: The turn lanes opened to traffic on April 17, according to the project dashboard.
