At its Jan. 13 meeting, Prosper Town Council approved a $532,145 construction agreement with Homerun Construction LLC for Parvin Park.

The existing 3.5-acre park is located at 401 E. Broadway St. Once completed, park improvements will include a small playground and picnic tables, in addition to the existing small pond and open green space.
Parks and Recreation Director Dan Baker said the park is expected to be completed this summer.
According to the town's capital improvement program website, construction on the park was delayed from summer 2025 to allow for site plan revisions.

According to town documents, the park’s current budget is just over $1 million.
