Why are you running for office?

I'm running for City Council to preserve the essence of the city we all fell in love with, even amidst the rapid growth. I believe in smart development that respects our city's unique character, listens to its citizens, and prioritizes thoughtful and sustainable solutions.

What are the biggest challenges facing the city?

The biggest challenge facing our city is (obviously) managing rapid growth responsibly. Balancing development with preserving our community's identity, ensuring infrastructure keeps pace and maintaining affordability are crucial. By embracing smart growth strategies, we can navigate this transformation and continue to enhance the quality of life for all Celina residents.

How do you plan to address these issues?

I plan to address rapid growth by implementing policies that prioritize sustainable development, investing in infrastructure upgrades to accommodate increased population, fostering public-private partnerships to create options for residents and small businesses, and, importantly, engaging with residents to ensure their voices shape the direction of our community's growth.

What would your top priorities be if you are elected?

My top priorities, driven by collaboration, small-business support, and transparency, include: 1. Facilitating dialogues between council, residents and local businesses to address community-wide needs. 2. Implementing policies that foster small-business growth and entrepreneurship. 3. Ensuring transparent decision-making processes that engage all Celina citizens in shaping our community's future.
