Cafe Intermezzo closed its doors permanently in August at The Shops at Legacy, 7401 Lone Star Drive, Plano. The restaurant and cafe was the company's first location in Texas and was home to the state's largest espresso machine, according to its owner. Cafe Intermezzo closed briefly due to the coronavirus pandemic in March but reopened in May with lowered prices for its European-inspired menu. The restaurant got its start in Atlanta, Georgia, and still operates five locations in two states. www.cafeintermezzo.com
