Chick-fil-A has registered a new construction project with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation at 300 W. Plano Parkway, Plano. That location is where Japan House currently sits, and is across the street from a current Chick-fil-A location. The project is registered as a roughly 5,000-square-foot space with a drive-through and is registered with an expected construction start date next March and completion in September 2020. In response to a request about the location, Chick-fil-A Inc. said, "We are always evaluating potential new locations in the hopes of serving existing and new customers great food with remarkable service.
