Dreamcatchers at Ridglea

The city of Plano is hosting its sixth annual Turkey Trot 5K run as part of a nationwide Thankful Turkey Run/Walk. Participants can enjoy doughnuts at the end of the race and will be given long-sleeve running shirts as part of this year's swag. Proceeds from the race will be donated to Source of Hope, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing health, wellness and education to all individuals in need.Light up the Highlands

Kick off the holiday season a countdown to a Christmas tree lighting and other activities for the family to enjoy, such as pictures with Santa and a reindeer petting zoo. The event will feature Reverse Food Truck, an outreach of NorthPark Presbyterian Church, which collects donations for local food pantries.Home for the Holidays

The Prosper Christmas Festival is the town’s premier event and features a tree lighting. Other activities include Santa’s workshop, community stage performances, a Kids Christmas Shoppe for young shoppers and more.
