Plano ISD will host a drive-thru, contactless event Aug. 3 to give district families in need the opportunity to pick up school resources and essentials for the new school year.

Families will receive a box of shelf-stable food and a backpack filled with school supplies for each student present and/or shown with proof of enrollment. The 2021 Plano ISD Back-to-School Fair will be from 10 a.m.-noon Aug. 3 in the parking lot of Clark Stadium, 6600 Stadium Drive, Plano, while supplies last.

Last year, the district and its sponsors passed out approximately 1,500 backpacks, while this year an estimated 2,500 backpacks are anticipated to be provided, according to district staff.

New student online enrollment and annual registration for the district can be completed here. The first day of school is Aug. 11.
