K9 Pet Resorts is set to open in Plano in the spring, Managing Owner Suzanna Austin said in an email. The business will provide dog day care and boarding services.5. Indy Clover

The retailer provides rentable space for individuals looking to sell apparel, home decor, accessories and more starting at $35 per week. Zach Champlin, the Plano store franchisee, said sellers receive two-thirds of revenues for any items sold at their booth space.

The model differs from a traditional thrift store, Champlin said, because individuals who rent booths have full control over pricing and can also discount items by 25%, 50% or 75%. Booths can also be renewed, and items can be added or taken away from the rented space throughout the rental period.
