Owner Rick Oruch said the restaurant, located at4017 Preston Road, Ste. 530, Plano, has been donating toys to Children’s Medical Center for six years. Server Jann La Mendola spearheaded the donation, which has become a tradition for the restaurant’s employees.
Sea Breeze Fish Market & Grill donated 50-100 toys to patients at Children’s Medical Center Plano.[/caption]“We think it’s a very good thing to do,” Oruch said. “Instead of giving gifts to each other we give [them] to kids.”
From mid-November to mid-December, Sea Breeze gathered 3 1/2 boxes of toys donated by employees and customers, Oruch said.
“We’re a small family-owned business in Plano and we feel [donating toys] is the right thing to do,” he said.
