The following five businesses are set to open their doors in Plano later this year.

Chally Bridal & Prom is set to open on Aug. 11 in Plano, according to co-owner James Kang. The store in the Shops at Willow Bend, just outside of the Dillard’s, will sell wedding and prom dresses. The 40,000-square-foot space will also feature an event center, and will be the largest wedding salon in Texas, according to Kang. Kang and his wife, Ann, owned a bridal store in Missouri for 25 years before moving to Texas three years ago. Chally will host a grand opening event on Aug. 11, with dress designer Randy Fenoli in attendance.

2. Bakery chain House of Bread plans to open a new location at 1941 Preston Road, Ste. A1012. The restaurant is expected to open later this summer, according to a spokesperson for the company. House of Bread serves a variety of handmade bread loaves and other baked goods, such as cinnamon rolls, muffins and croissants. The California-based chain has one Texas location at 7551 Eldorado Parkway, McKinney. 214-709-0739.

3. Crunch Fitness is expected to open this fall, according to a news release from the company. Crunch Fitness, which will be located 1701 Preston Road, will offer group fitness classes, cardio and strength training equipment, tanning beds, a sauna and more. 4. Health-focused restaurant Flower Child is opening a location in Plano. The restaurant is expected to open later this year at 2101 Preston Road, Ste. A, according to a news release from the company. Flower Child is known for its salads, bowls, wraps and hippie-inspired aesthetic. The Plano restaurant will be the sixth North Texas location for the chain.

5. A new Dunkin’ restaurant is coming soon to south Plano. The restaurant will be located at 3801 W. President George Bush Turnpike and is estimated to open in late fall, according to a spokesperson for the company. The chain is known for its donuts, coffee and other beverages. This will be the third Dunkin’ location in Plano.
