With all Collin County voting centers reporting, Sam Johnson, Nancy Humphrey and Elisa Klein have won their races, according with unofficial totals.

What you need to know

In the Place 2 race, Johnson won with 19,230 votes while Xiomar Pierre received 3,167 votes. In Place 3, Humphrey received 16,296 votes and challenger Harper Weaver, 3,167 votes.

In the Place 6 race, Klein received 13,310 while Andrew Rettke received 3,005 votes and Dash Weerasinghe received 7,119.


“I’m glad to be able to come back and serve my community,” Humphrey said. “I think I make a difference and my heart is with the students and all the progress they can make in life readiness and the teachers and make sure we have high-quality and high-paid teachers.”

Johnson and Klein did not respond to requests for comments.

In the Place 2 race, Johnson leads over Xiomar Pierre with 14,780 votes. Pierre has 2,365 votes. In Place 3, Humphrey has 12,385 votes while challenger Harper Weaver has 5,021 votes.

In Place 6, Klein has 9,896 votes while Andrew Rettke has 2,267 and Dash Weerasinghe has 5,701 votes, respectively.

With unofficial early voting results in for the May 3 elections, Sam Johnson, incumbent Nancy Humphrey and Elisa Klein lead their respective races.

What you need to know


Johnson leads over Xiomar Pierre in the Place 2 race with 12,955 votes. Pierre received 1,966 votes.

In Place 3, Humphrey, who currently serves as board president, received 10,820 of the total early votes cast while challenger Harper Weaver received 4,356 votes. In Place 6, Klein received 8,526 votes while Andrew Rettke and Dash Weerasinghe earned 1,928 and 5,162 votes, respectively.
