We need representatives who represent our citizens—my neighbors. The foundation of the health of a future Texas is built on two pillars: education and economic opportunity. Our rights are under attack from our government. I am running to defend these rights so Texans can build the lives the choose
What are the biggest challenges facing the district?
The public education system is critically underfunded. Property taxes continue to grow, largely to fill the public school funding void. The basic costs of living are beyond the reach of many in this district. Corporations consume resources at a disproportionate rate, without proportional contributions to the community tax base.
How do you plan to address these issues?
Fully fund Texas public schools, including banning public funds to private schools. Develop a roadmap to establish world-class Texas public education, at all levels, within 10 years. Restrict purchase of residential property to those with residential interests. Require new developments and businesses to pay their fair share of infrastructure costs.
