Neiman Marcus is set to close its Plano store at The Shops at Willow Bend in January 2027, a Saks Global spokesperson confirmed.

The details

Saks Global, parent company of Neiman Marcus, sold the property to Centennial, which is redeveloping the mall into a mixed-use development.

Plano officials approved a plan in February for the redevelopment, which includes demolishing the northern section of the mall, from Macy’s to Neiman Marcus.

“The sale was a mutual decision that allows the developer to bring its vision for the area to life, building on the retail foundation with the introduction of new residential, dining and entertainment uses,” a Saks Global spokesperson said in a news release.

A spokesperson for The Shops at Willow Bend said in a statement Centennial remains committed to advancing the multi-year redevelopment of the mall.

“Our goal is to ensure the property evolves in a way that reflects the needs of the Plano community and provides an exceptional experience for our retailers, restaurants and guests,” a statement from The Shops at Willow Bend said.
