2. 4th Army Drive extension

Construction is about 85 percent complete to extend 4th Army Drive from Lebanon Road to the Stewart Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant. The new roadway, which is the first phase of the road project, will be two lanes.

The second phase of the project, to extend the road from the treatment plant to Timber Ridge Drive, is being designed.

3. Dallas Parkway widening

Construction is 50 percent complete to widen Dallas Parkway from SH 121 to Lebanon Road. Lanes will be added to the northbound and southbound frontage roads with intersection improvements at Warren Parkway and Lebanon Road. The second widening project of Dallas Parkway from Lebanon Road to Eldorado Parkway is still in the planning phase.

4. FM 423 widening

Construction is 75 percent complete to widen FM 423 from Eldorado Parkway to US 380. The project, which is being funded by TxDOT, is widening the roadway to six lanes.

5. Frisco Street/Technology Drive roundabout construction

Planning has begun to construct a roundabout at the intersection of Frisco Street and Technology Drive. Construction is expected to begin in January 2018.

6. Main Street widening

Design work to widen Main Street from FM 423 to the Dallas North Tollway is more than halfway complete. The roadway will be widened to six lanes in conjunction with a project to include underground power lines.

7. Ohio Drive/Warren Parkway roundabout construction

Design work continues for the roundabout at Ohio Drive and Warren Parkway. The roundabout will replace an existing four-way stop at the intersection. Construction is expected to begin in the summer.

8. Preston intersection improvements

Construction will begin soon on Preston Road to improve intersections from SH 121 to Main Street. The improvements will include construction of additional turn lanes at intersections.

9. Warren Parkway construction

Planning has begun to reconstruct a street from Ohio Drive to Hillcrest Road. The design phase is expected to be completed this summer, and a start date for construction has yet to be determined.
