More than 15 million Texas residents registered to vote this election, according to the Texas Secretary of State’s office, a record figure and a 5 percent increase from the primaries earlier this year. In total, about 78 percent of voting-age Texans can vote between now and Nov. 8, Election Day. Many of those voters wasted no time casting ballots, participating Monday in the first day of early voting, which runs through Nov. 4. Collin County alone received 31,283 ballots—not counting mail-in and limited ballots. For more information about this year's election, click here.
