West Grove will bring new dining and business options to McKinney once it opens.

Among the new businesses are Sephora, Velvet Taco, Chipotle, Chewy Vet Care and more, according to a list of businesses that have signed leases, announced Dec. 12. The various businesses announced are expected to open in 2025, a news release states.

De La Vega Capital and Development is the developing company behind the project. West Grove is a 53-acre mixed-use development, which will bring restaurants, retail, office space and residences to west McKinney.

The specifics

The development will be anchored by Whole Foods Market, a grocery retailer offering natural and organic products. A Chick-fil-A location also opened at West Grove in March.

The development, located at the southeast corner of University Drive and Custer Road, was designed through a public-private partnership with the city of McKinney, the release states.
