Among the new businesses are Sephora, Velvet Taco, Chipotle, Chewy Vet Care and more, according to a list of businesses that have signed leases, announced Dec. 12. The various businesses announced are expected to open in 2025, a news release states.
De La Vega Capital and Development is the developing company behind the project. West Grove is a 53-acre mixed-use development, which will bring restaurants, retail, office space and residences to west McKinney.
The specifics
The development will be anchored by Whole Foods Market, a grocery retailer offering natural and organic products. A Chick-fil-A location also opened at West Grove in March.
The full list of newly-announced businesses and restaurants includes:
- Chewy Vet Care: A branch of the online pet retailer Chewy, the business offers veterinary care for pets
- Chipotle: A fast-casual chain offering customizable bowls, tacos and burritos
- La La Land Kind Cafe: A cafe that offers coffee, drinkware, accessories and other apparel
- Kura Revolving Sushi Bar: A Japanese restaurant that serves sushi on a revolving conveyor belt
- Keke’s Breakfast Cafe: A breakfast and lunch restaurant originally from Florida
- Oak & Stone: The first Texas location for the eatery that offers wood-fired pizzas and craft beers
- OrangeTwist: A California-based medical aesthetics business
- Pacugio Gelato: An Italian-inspired gelato shop
- PNC Bank: A financial services center offering a range of banking services
- Reformed Pilates: A boutique pilates studio
- Resort Nail Spa: A luxury nail spa offering manicure and pedicure services
- Sephora: A beauty retailer offering makeup, skincare, hair and fragrance products
- Sweet Paris Crêperie and Cafe: A French-inspired eatery offering sweet and savory crêpes and waffles
- Velvet Taco: A Dallas-based fast-casual restaurant serving globally-inspired tacos
The development, located at the southeast corner of University Drive and Custer Road, was designed through a public-private partnership with the city of McKinney, the release states.
The project includes:
- 420 luxury residential units
- 55,000-square-foot office space
- A two-acre park
- Retail, restaurant and entertainment space
