Frisco City Council approved increasing the speed limits on several Frisco roads during the June 7 meeting. The new speed limits will take effect June 17. The roads with increased speed limits include Main Street from Preston to Taft Powell roads. The speed limit increased from 45 mph to 55 mph. The Council also approved setting speed limits on new roadway extensions, including Rockhill Parkway and Coit Road. The following is a list of the roads with new or increased speed limits:
