With all precincts reporting, both open Frisco City Council seats are headed to runoff elections.

Shona Huffman is leading the race for the Frisco City Council Place 2 seat with 4,831 votes, or 48.9 percent of the votes, according to unofficial total voting results in the May 7 city election. Terri Green is following behind with 34.9 percent of the votes, and Eric Hall has 16.2 percent of the votes.

For the Place 4 seat, Bill Woodard is leading the race with 4,232 votes, or 41.8 percent of the votes. Cindy Asche has 33.2 percent of the votes; Laxmi Tummala has 22 percent of the votes; and Michael Lang has 3 percent of the votes.

All election results are unofficial until canvassed.

Since no candidates garnered more than 50 percent of the votes, a runoff election will take place. Huffman and Green will run in the Place 2 race, and Woodard and Asche will run in the Place 4 race.
