A proposition, if it passes, could legalize the sale of all types of alcohol in Frisco.[/caption] Frisco Committee for Economic Growth, a political action committee in support of the alcohol proposition on the May 7 ballot, will hold a press conference Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. at The Londoner Pub & Grill, 5454 W. Main St. At the press conference, the PAC will speak about the potential financial impact to Frisco if the proposition were to pass. In October, City Council called a local option election for May 7 regarding the legal sale of all alcoholic beverages, after the Frisco Committee for Economic Growth submitted a petition with 9,943 verified signatures in support of the measure. In March, the opposing PAC, Keep Frisco First, kicked off its campaign in opposition of the alcohol proposition. The event served as a fundraiser and information gathering for the PAC to share its side of the issue.
