1. US 380 widening
Construction is underway to widen US 380. The roadway from CR 26 to Lovers Lane will be turned into a freeway section with frontage roads and grade-separated intersections. The roadway is also being widened to six lanes from Lovers Lane to Custer Road. Construction is more than 50 percent complete on this portion of the project.

Construction is about 50 percent complete to extend Teel Parkway from Stafford Middle School to Rockhill Parkway. The new roadway will have two concrete lanes and will include a bridge across the flood plain.

3. Preston Road improvements
Construction is expected to begin by mid-2016 on intersections on Preston Road. Additional turn lanes will be added to the Warren Parkway, Lebanon Road, Wade Boulevard, Rolater Road and Main Street intersections.

4. Custer Road widening
Construction began in November to widen Custer Road from four lanes to a six-lane divided roadway. The 3-mile-long project spans from SH 121 to Stonebridge Drive. The roadway north of Stonebridge Drive is already six lanes. The widening project is being funded mostly by TxDOT and Collin County. The city of Frisco is contributing nearly $2 million to the project.

5. Stonebrook Parkway extension
Construction is expected to be complete in December to extend Stonebrook Parkway. Some lanes have been open to traffic since August. The contractor is finishing the final punch list items. The extension stretches from Fighting Eagles Lane to Longhorn Trail and features a new six-lane divided roadway with an underpass at the railroad tracks. The extension will complete the connection of Stonebrook Parkway between FM 423 and the Dallas North Tollway. The eastern portion of the roadway from DNT to Preston Road has already been widened to six lanes.

4th Army
As construction continues to construct an extension of 4th Army Drive, the city of Frisco is also preparing to reconstruct part of the roadway. The extension of the roadway will span from Lebanon Road to the Stewart Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant. The new roadway will be two lanes. The portion of 4th Army Drive from the wastewater treatment plant to Timber Ridge Drive will be reconstructed into a two-lane concrete roadway. Reconstruction is expected to begin by mid-2016.
