Brendon Payne was chosen as the new president for the Colleyville Area Chamber of Commerce. The announcement was made prior to the December Colleyville Area Chamber of Commerce luncheon held Dec. 4 where Payne was welcomed by the chamber.2014 Colleyville Area Chamber Board Chair Eric Cook said in a press release, "Brendon brings a wealth of experience in the chamber profession and we welcome him back to this area. He is eager to meet and get to know our members and the community."Before joining the Colleyville Area Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Payne served as the president and CEO of the Greenville, Texas Chamber of Commerce and executive director of the Northwest Tarrant Chamber in Lake Worth. Prior to the Northwest Tarrant Chamber, Payne served as president of the Saginaw Area Chamber of Commerce for almost nine years. Growing the chamber from just over 100 members to close to 500, the chamber and community exploded during his tenure there. He and his team won multiple awards for Program of the Year and for its publications from the Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives Association.
