Changes to traffic patterns on two different roadways—Hillcrest/Main Street and Stonebrook Parkway—begin Nov. 19, according to city officials.

Hillcrest/Main Street

Hillcrest Road traffic will be switched so that north and southbound traffic will share the west half of the road at the Hillcrest and Main Street Intersection.

Motorists are asked to be aware of the new location of stop lines and turn lanes.

Stonebrook Parkway

Two changes are taking place on Stonebrook Parkway, which will change traffic patterns at the Stonebrook Parkway and Parkwood Boulevard intersection to flow on opposite sides of the median between Parkwood and Preston Road.

At the Stonebrook and Parkwood intersection, traffic that had been sharing the south half of the road will be shifted to the north half of the road. Eastbound drivers will be shifting to the north side of the median in front of Frisco High School, and after the intersection, will shift back to the south side of the median.

Drivers are asked to pay attention to new stop lines and note that north and southbound Parkwood will continue to have no dedicated left turn lane.

Another shift will take place between Parkwood and Preston Road. Westbound traffic will be shifted to the north side of the median from Preston to Dallas Parkway.

Motorists are urged to use caution and watch for flaggers.
