Residents who leave the DFW Connector only to drive through the North Tarrant Express—the huge road project underway between Grapevine and Fort Worth—probably wonder when that one will be done.
The answer: The Express is about
60 percent finished. The entire 13.5-mile project is expected to be completed sometime in 2015.
Other key facts about the neighboring road project, from www.northtarrantexpress.com: More than 1,800 people are working on it; 3.33 million cubic yards of dirt have been moved; 230,000 cubic yards of concrete have been poured; and $868 million has been spent so far.
