Fireworks will crown the 11th annual July 4 Frisco Freedom Fest.

The festivities are from 4-10 p.m. surrounding Frisco City Hall, with the fireworks projected to start about 10:20 p.m.

Beginning at 4 p.m., singers, bands and dancers will take the Community Stage. Performers include, among many others, The Saints, Dallas Wayde, Tenacity Dance, Caterpillars, Haleigh Pickett, Cutta C, Phillpalooza and Rick Derringer.

A Children's Expo will feature a wide variety of activities and amusements, including Euro bungees, a rock climbing wall and bounce houses. New this year is a zip line. Many of the amusements require tickets. Tickets are available starting for $1 and an all-day jump wristband is $25.

Free Children's Expo activities include the Traditional African Drummer, "Let Freedom Ring" bell show, Patriotic Puppet Show and the Uncle Sam stilt-walker.

The Hometown Heroes Exhibit will give youth and families the opportunity to meet local police and firemen, pick up safety tips and learn about the equipment the departments use on the job.

A Taste of Frisco features a wide variety of Frisco food venders. Offerings include pizza, barbecue, Mexican food, snow cones and more.

Vendor Village will be home to a variety of businesses and civic organizations.

At 8 p.m., FC Dallas soccer takes on Chivas USA in the FC Dallas Stadium.

Fireworks are expected to be visible around Frisco City Hall and FC Dallas Stadium and the show is projected to last about 20 minutes.
