Tarrant County taxpayers will have the option to receive their property tax bills electronically for the first time this year. The move is meant to ease the process for taxpayers while saving paper and the cost of printing and mailing.
Electronic bills will be sent several days earlier than their snail mail counterparts, so taxpayers choosing emailed bills should sign up at www.tarrantcounty.com/etax by Sept. 15. Taxpayers who register after Sept. 15 will receive their October bill by mail, but subsequent bills electronically.
