Residents can attend the city's annual State of the City presentation on Jan. 26. Colleyville City Manager Jennifer Fadden will review issues from the past year and discuss issues to expect this year.

Among the topics that will be discussed are capital improvement projects, public safety, urban drilling and economic development.

Residents can attend an open house at 6 p.m. to find information about city projects, such as recycling programs. The open house will be followed by the presentation at 7 p.m. in the Colleyville Center, 5301 Riverwalk Drive.

A public Q&A session with the City Council and city staff will follow. Colleyville spokeswoman Mona Gandy said the meeting is an informal setting where people can ask questions.

"I think that this is a good opportunity for people who want a good overview of the city and how it is using their tax dollars," she said. "And it is an opportunty to interact with council, city leadership and city staff all at one time."
