The two MEOWS will not be available on the same days.
The first location will open at 6 p.m. Dec. 22 and close at 10 a.m. Dec. 24.

The second location will open at 7 p.m. Dec. 24.
- Salvation Army of McKinney, 600 Wilson Creek Parkway
The temperature is dropping across the state and is expected to reach around 10 degrees Fahrenheit overnight in McKinney Dec. 22 and stay between 19 and 40 degrees until Dec. 26.
McKinney’s Salvation Army offers annual seasonal warming stations when the temperature gets near or below freezing through Nov. 1-March 21. They have expanded their warming station capacity over the past few years.
Those with questions about the warming stations can call or text 214-945-4637 after 2 p.m. daily for more information, according to a city of McKinney Facebook post.
