McKinney Fire Department hires new assistant chief of operations


Robert Alley III will serve as the new assistant chief of operations for the McKinney Fire Department. Alley will begin working with the McKinney Fire Department on June 3, according to a news release.

“It was a long search, and we feel confident we have found the right person for the job,” McKinney Fire Chief Danny Kistner said in the release. “We look forward to incorporating Robert Alley’s experience and leadership into the McKinney Fire Department.”

With more than 40 years of experience in the fire service industry, Alley previously worked as a fire chief of Newport News Fire Department in Virginia. He also worked as fire chief in College Station and division chief in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
