On June 26, the McKinney Senior Recreation Center at 1400 S. College St. in McKinney celebrated its 20th anniversary with a ceremony and concert followed by an evening of casino games. The center reopened in May 2021 following renovations to the facility that included a new, reorganized floor plan. The center now has a billiards room; a larger fitness space; and upgraded restrooms, showers and common areas.
