KinderCare set to open in McKinney this month

McKinney KinderCare is set to open Oct. 18 at 2901 Alma Road, McKinney. The learning center will serve children from 6 weeks to 5 years old, with spots for up to 24 babies and 30 toddlers.

Center Director Starisha Perkins has been a director with KinderCare for two years, according to a news release. Perkins is pursuing a master’s degree in early childhood education and looks forward to welcoming children and families to their new home away from home, the release said.


The center will host a grand opening ceremony on Nov. 13 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. where the community can get to know Perkins and KinderCare staff. 833-905-3276. www.kindercare.com/mckinney
