3. Funky Munky Shaved Ice
Funky Munky Shaved Ice debuted in east McKinney on May 1, according to owner Melanie Miller. The business, located at 1600 W. Virginia St. near Graves Street, offers snow cones in a variety of flavors with toppings that include housemade sweet cream, ice cream and more. 6. Parlor Doughnuts
Indiana-based Parlor Doughnuts has a new location planned for 5100 Stacy Road, Ste. 950, McKinney. The business will offer layered doughnuts, craft breakfast items and specialty drinks, according to its website. 7. Shake Shack
The national fast-casual chain Shake Shack has a new stand-alone location under construction in east McKinney. The new restaurant is located at 1727 N. Central Expressway, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Dunkin’ is expected to open in McKinney in the fall, according to a representative of the brand. The new coffee shop will be located at 2761 Virginia Parkway, McKinney. The location is the fourth in McKinney for the coffee company, according to its website.
