The coffee shop will be located at 610 Elm St., Ste. 1340, inside The McKinney Cotton Mill. The concept was inspired by the international travel experiences of Danisa Laskowski and her husband, Adam Laskowski.
“We fell in love with the tiny, charming hole-in-the-wall coffee shops on our travels. We made it a point to try something new everywhere we traveled,” Danisa Laskowski said.
The coffee shop will offer coffees, teas, pastries and more, Danisa Laskowski said. The coffee will use single-origin coffee beans, showcasing natural flavors from the coffee’s origin, she said. The shop’s pastry options will also be baked fresh daily.
“We've kind of put our heads together and come up with some wonderful bakery items that ... represents some of our favorite discoveries on our travels,” Danisa Laskowski said.
One travel-inspired pastry to be offered at the shop is the lemon cornetti, inspired by lemons from Italy’s Amalfi Coast, she said. The shop will also offer teas, including organic, high-quality matcha.
The coffee shop will also feature a children’s play area along with snacks and drinks for children, Danisa Laskowski said.
“We're bringing more than just coffee to McKinney; we're bringing more of an experience,” Danisa Laskowski said.
The coffee shop’s grand opening is expected to feature a week of giveaways, including free drinks and merchandise.
