Krust Pizza Co. opened Jan. 21 at 7701 Stacy Road, Ste. 300, McKinney. The build-your-own pizza shop has common toppings, such as pepperoni, olives and peppers, according to the website. Customers can also customize with premium toppings, including meatball, albacore tuna, feta cheese and other options.

Hello Boba expanding into McKinney



Hello Boba is expected to open Feb. 5 at 260 N. Coit Road, McKinney. This location will be an extension of the original store in Allen and will feature an identical menu of boba tea drinks in more than a dozen flavors.

Construction set to begin on new outdoor pool at Oak Point Recreation Center

Construction is about to get underway on a new outdoor pool at Oak Point Recreation Center.

The $10 million renovation project was approved by Plano voters as part of the 2017 bond referendum, according to a Jan. 25 city news release. The facility will include a wave pool, a splash pad, an elevated play structure, a family pool, rentable cabanas, concessions and more.

Deep Ellum's Ebb & Flow coming soon to Plano

Ebb & Flow, a dining concept in Deep Ellum, is expanding to Plano with a new location at The Shops at Legacy, 7300 Lone Star Drive, Ste. C125. The restaurant expects to open this March with similar design elements to its Dallas location, such as an ivy-adorned garden patio and chandeliers over the bar.

A Pokey O’s is expected to open in the Oak St. Food & Brew food hall in February at 206 N. Oak St., Roanoke. The cookies and ice cream company will offer catering services starting March 1, and the owners said they expect to bring an ice cream truck to events by summer.
