Community Impact Newspaper will not be attending the McKinney regular City Council meeting Nov. 6 due to general election night coverage. However, we will be following up on major agenda items later this week.

Here are a few things of interest on the council’s agenda:

Car dealership ordinance change
Council will conduct a public hearing to discuss the potential amendment of an ordinance that allows car dealerships to be built in commercial corridors along US 75 and SH 121.

Ballfields at Craig Ranch
Council will discuss and/or act on a general development plan for the Ballfields at Craig Ranch, located on the corner of Alma Road and Henneman Way.

Mitchell Park Sculpture
Council will consider a resolution that, if approved, would authorize a payment of $500 to each of three artists to create a potential design concept for a sculpture at Dr. Glenn Mitchell Memorial Park, 300 W. Louisiana St., McKinney.

Follow along with us tomorrow night as we release general election results starting at 7 p.m.
