The restaurant, which will serve chicken sandwiches, chicken nuggets, fries and more, will be open for drive-thru, dine-in and carryout service. About 115 part-time and full-time jobs have been created through the opening of the restaurant, according to a news release.
As part of the grand opening, Chick-fil-A will surprise 100 local heroes in the McKinney area with free Chick-fil-A for a year. Additionally, the fast-food chain will donate $25,000 to Feeding America. The funds will be distributed to partners within the McKinney area to aid in the fight against hunger.
“I feel so blessed by the opportunity to positively impact [the] McKinney community and cannot wait to start welcoming guests into our new restaurant,” Owner-Operator Bryson Bullington said in the release.
There are over 3,000 Chick-fil-A restaurants nationwide, including three existing locations in McKinney, according to its website.
