The action taken
The McKinney Planning and Zoning Commission voted unanimously to recommend approval of screening variances requested for the project by the developer at a Dec. 12 meeting.
McKinney City Council members also unanimously approved a separate variance request related to the project in January 2023. The request included the addition of a traffic signal on Virginia Parkway, about 400 feet west of the traffic signal at North Central Expressway.
