H-E-B is looking to hire over 700 new employees ahead of the McKinney store's summer opening, according to a news release.

H-E-B will host a hiring fair Feb. 28 for prospective employees. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m at the Collin College Conference Center, located at 2400 Community Ave.

Currently 118 positions are listed on H-E-B’s careers page for the McKinney location, with both full- and part-time roles including checkers, deli workers, produce and customer service representatives, among others. Applicants must complete an application prior to attending the job fair, according to the news release. Most hourly positions begin at $15 per hour.

The store is expected to open this summer at the northeast corner of Eldorado Parkway at Custer Road and will employ a total of 750 people, according to a representative of the company.
