The Dripbar, a health center focused on administering IV infusions, is expected to open in early March in west McKinney. The Rhode Island-based franchise specializes in intravenous therapy that provides nutrients and vitamins directly into the bloodstream, according to its website. The business, to be located at 140 S. Custer Road, Ste. 200, will address “health on a cellular level,” franchise co-owner Aaron Wing said.

Clients can choose from different IV drips focused on supporting lifestyles or health conditions, including the “Powerpack” to boost energy levels, and the “High C,” which is often used for current or former cancer patients. Other treatments offered by the location will include intramuscular vitamin injections, red-light therapy and halotherapy, Wing said.

“It really gives our guests ... control over their health in a natural way,” Wing said.

The Dripbar has over 50 locations in 21 states, including 10 in Texas, according to its website. 214-225-2884.
