The May election for places 1 and 3 on Lewisville City Council has been canceled.

Since no one is challenging incumbent Council Members Bob Troyer and TJ Gilmore for the two open seats, Lewisville City Council voted March 2 to cancel the election.

Troyer and Gilmore will be sworn in at a May 18 council meeting.
