Denton County Public Health announced May 20 that an additional 45 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed locally, bringing the county’s total to 1,161 cases.

So far, 592 residents who were diagnosed with the virus have since recovered, 541 cases remain active and 28 residents have died due to the virus.

Forty-seven Flower Mound residents, 14 Highland Village residents and 200 Lewisville residents have tested positive for the virus, according to officials.
