Public Information Officer Tila Grant said the I-35E northbound lane work is on track for completion this summer. Copasa Inc. is the project's contractor, making operational improvements on the northbound lane from West Frankford Road in Carrollton to Corporate Drive in Lewisville.
The work started in April 2023 and is on track to be finished in August, documents show.
The $17.6 million project is listed at 65% completed as of April 16.

The second construction is the reconstruction and separating the frontage roads at the intersection of I-35E at FM 1171.
This project started in May 2023 with an estimated completion date of June 2026, according to TxDOT documents.
The $117 million project has limited the eastbound and westbound lanes on Main Street.
SEMA Construction is the contractor for the $117 million project. TxDOT estimates the work is 20% completed as of April 16.
